【产品介绍】HSP40 (heat shock protein 40) proteins have
been preserved throughout evolution and are important
for protein translation, folding, unfolding,
translocation, and degradation, primarily by stimulating
the ATPase activity of chaperone proteins, Hsp70s (1).
It has been found that HSP40-4 is a partner DnaJ for
the Hsc70-based chaperone system (2). HSP40-4 is know
to play a role in protein import into the mitochondria (3).

Specificity
A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near
the C-terminus of human HSP40-4 was used as an immunogen.
